The Association of Austrian Leasing Companies (VÖL, Verband Österreichischer Leasing-Gesellschaften) was founded in 1983 as a registered association, in continuance of a former, loosely associated interest group of Austria's 16 leading leasing companies. The main goals ever since have been to represent interests and matters of concern regarding the Austrian leasing industry and to serve as a link to the consumer.
