The BDL represents the interests of Germany’s leasing companies. The leasing sector currently generates 41,2 billion euro’s worth of business in Germany, which makes it the country’s largest source of investment. Around 190 leasing companies, ranging from medium-sized businesses to international leasing concerns, have joined forces under the aegis of the BDL to engage in dialogue with legislators, public authorities, and the interested public at large about the possibilities this unique financial service offers. The BDL’s membership accounts for around 90% of the turnover generated in this sector, so it can justly claim to be the forum for the discussion of all matters related to leasing.
