Daniel McKew exiting CFG Community Bank to Capital One (Subscription)

The head of CFG Community Bank is stepping down to lead a new Baltimore-area office for Capital One Financial Corp.

Daniel McKew, CFG’s president, is leaving the Baltimore County bank to head Capital One’s national equipment finance group. McKew said he will start his new job with Capital One on June 18.

He said the offer from Capital One was too good to pass up.

“It’s bittersweet,” McKew said. “We’re really happy about what we were able to accomplish when we were here.”
